ORLANDO, Fla. — IvyLees opened up their website to the public today, ending a closed testing period. They revealed two major changes: A new social news release format along with an interactive social media newsroom.
"We had a handful of testers who were very committed," said Rex Riepe, CEO. "They settled only for the best. Our tools are really shining now because of them."
The tools, which are offered for free, include the IvyLees Release Builder, a web app that allows PR professionals to package their news content in an attractive, social media-friendly format. Also offered is the Online NewsRoom, a tool that allows PR practicioners to archive their news releases in one place, with social networking features.
Greg Allard, CTO of IvyLees, called the features "the best free offerings you can find for an online newsroom." He added, "We're very excited about them, and we'll be rolling out our premium offerings soon."
